weight

At the beginning of the year my first goal was to get fit, then it became important to loose weight. Somewhere in there the desire to train for a triathlon was born. Exercise programmes evolve and change according to needs, also it becomes necessary to change things up least you become used to the exercises and they loose their effectiveness.
However, in the time I lost the most weight I was quiet regular in my approach to exercise. In the 3 months I lost the most weight (and in conjunction with my diet) I followed the following programme:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday

  1. Boot Camp [basically a full body and cardio workout involving a variety of abs workouts, pushup, divebombers, dips, burpies ect ]
  2. Killer Abs [15 minutes of Abs only exercises that I do not even know existed]
  3. Super Circuit

Tuesday, Thursday

On a rainy Day:

  1. 2km Row, 3km Run/10km Cycle (at the gym)
  2. Killer Abs
  3. Super Circuit

On a clear Day:

  1. 6 – 8 km run
  2. 1km Lunch Time Swim

Saturday

  • Rest Day

Sunday

  • 10km Run

After time I moved to Free Weights and more Triathlon training, but more of that later.
